In a bid to cash in on the approaching Dashain and Tihar festivals and increase transactions, estate real developers have announced spe cial discount offers and schemes for houses and apartments. Hence, housing and apartment companies like Downtown, Guna and Civil are providing cash discounts amounting to millions and even gold prize for their buyers.

Downtown Housing Pvt Ltd (DHPL) is offering discounts of up to Rs 3.6 million on its apartments this festive season. For the convenience of customers, the company is even providing a loan facility at 10 to 12 per cent interest rate. Downtown Apartment comprises of 210 apartments in Khulmaltar, Lalitpur. Eighty per cent of construction has been completed and the company is planning to handover the apartments in mid-July 2013.

Minman Shrestha, chairman at DHPL, says, “This is an opportunity not to be missed for anyone planning to buy an apartment.“ According to the company, around 70 per cent of the apartments have already been booked and their target is to sell at least 12 units during this festive season.

With the slogan `Invest today, earn today', Civil Mall has also opened its gates for interested investors to buy shops. Located at Sundhara, Kathmandu, Civil Mall has 103 shops on the second, third and fourth floors up for sale. The minimum amount for investment starts from Rs 6.5 million. “To encourage, attract and promote investment, the mall has put forward different exciting schemes for investors,“ informs Nishant Shrestha, head of marketing and communications at Civil Mall.
