The second edition of the Building and Construction Expo 2018 is scheduled to be held at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu from November 22 with an objective of educating the general public on building safe homes.
The four-day expo is being jointly organised by Youth Community for Nepalese Contractors (YCNC), Nepal Engineers’ Association (NEA), Society of Nepalese Architects (SONA), Society of Consulting Architectural & Engineering Firms (SCAEF) and Brandworth Pvt Ltd.
The exhibition will house around 200 stalls from real estate dealers, cement manufacturers, furniture and finishing, pipe and fittings, electronic and electric materials, banks, insurance companies, bricks, marbles, paints, solar power systems, sanitary wares, heavy equipment, interior design, among others.
According to the organiser, the expo will also have a seminar where experts in the construction sector will address the queries and concerns related to safe and sustainable construction and engineering. The organiser has expected footfall of 200,000 people during the four-day expo. (PR)
