Brihat Investment Pvt. Ltd. has celebrated its 3rd anniversary by sponsoring the first fully-equipped ambulance for Nepal Ambulance Service. In a press conference held today at Brihat Investment Pvt. Ltd., Sitapaila, Chief Executive Officer of Brihat Investments Pvt. Ltd., Mrs. Purnima Rajbhandary handed over the ambulance to the Vice President of Nepal Ambulance Service, Dr. Hikmat Bista.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Rajbhandari said -"We are glad, honored and proud to be a part of a cause that can positively bring change to the current medical facilities in Nepal. Nepal Ambulance Service is going to bring in facilities for emergency medical attention programme, and has already prepared a quick response team of Emergency Medical Techinicians. And now we've been able to complete this programme by providing an ambulance that gives full attention to the patient, from making the emergency call till the vehicle reaches the hospital."
Also speaking at the event, Vice President of NAS, Dr. Hikmat Bista said -"NAS is an initiative that has attempted to systematize the current medical facilities in Nepal. With the help of Brihat Investment Pvt. Ltd., this attempt now is possible. NAS will bring in 5 more fully-equipped ambulances by this Mangsir month and 5 more ambulances will be added in the subsequent months. NAS provides services to the people, and as we value lives more, we've introduced 102 toll free number from which emergency calls can be made and the help arrives immediately from the nearest dispatch center."
Popular Actors and Social Workers, Mr. Madan Krishna Shrestha and Mr. Hari Bamsha Acharya have also shown their solidarity to this attempt from Nepal Ambulance Service. The Duo has vowed to support this cause without any charges, and has appreciated a move that can well be the biggest part of a properly functional emergency medical service in future.
