The third Home and Decor Expo, an exhibition of interior and design accessories, kicked off at Bhrikutimandap Exhibition Hall on Friday. The expo was jointly organized with Nepal Security Expo 2010 , expo for security needs for today's unsecured time including security related electronic devices, security professional.Home minister Bhim Rawal inaugurated the event.

The three-day mega event organized by Direction Nepal features wide varieties of interior and exterior decorators such as furniture, electrical appliances, Nepali carpets, handicrafts, decorative wood parquet, paintings, plastic appliances and security related product and services.

According to the organizers, there are more than 60 stalls related to interior and security products and services. The expo is organized with the intention of bridging the gap between suppliers and consumers.

Trilokeshwore Malla, the managing director of Direction Nepal, said the event also aims to inform the consumers about the quality and prices of the products and also to introduce them to the new products in the market.

The organizers claim that the expo offers an extremely cost effective medium to promote and advertise an array of interior ,design accessories and security related devices. They believe that that the expo will act as a viable tool for the exhibitors to give their brand an optimum exposure in highly efficient manner.
