KATHMANDU: Almost every small and big name is familiar with the name of galvanized steel sheets that used to be the ultimate option of roofing until a few years back in both the urban and the rural areas of the nation.
However, the usages of these galvanized sheets have to some extent been lowered due to numerous roofing alternatives, especially in the urban areas. “Nowadays people prefer to use concrete mixture for roofing, some even use tiles for roofing,” said Ganesh Aryal, a steel sheet dealer at Koteshwor.
