The Kathmandu Metropolitan City Office is setting up new technology to collect the signatures of service seekers via online for the purpose of approving house or building blueprint.
Once the new provision comes into effect, service-seekers need not visit the office to sign on the approved document related to the approval of design of any physical infrastructure, according to Ram Thapa, Office Engineer.
The KMC is strengthening its online services intended to those seeking a permit to construct buildings or houses. It has already made a policy-level decision to this effect.
The Office has already taken a policy-level decision in this regard and it would be brought into practice once the technical shortcomings surfaced are resolved, KMC Engineer Thapa added.
