Metropolis all set to revive land pooling projects

The Kathmandu Metropolitan City is all set to resume its land pooling projects for managing the city in a better way.

Launched about a decade ago, Manohara Land Pooling Project and Chamati Land Pooling Project, supposed to be completed in three years, came to a halt in the wake of opposition from the local people. Eleven years ago, the civic body had planned to pool 1024 ropanis of land under Manohara Land Pooling Project to develop a well-facilitated settlement.
