The third edition of NLHDA Kantipur Real Estate Expo 2013 is scheduled to be held at Exhibition Hall, Bhrikuti Mandap from May 2-5.
The organizer of the fair, the Nepal Land and Housing Developers’ Association (NLHDA), said that it would help potential customers by providing them an opportunity to meet directly with developers and enable them to acquire in-depth information about the properties on offer.
Likewise, those looking for home loans will find representatives from a number of banks and financial institutions on hand to offer their services. Kantipur Publications is co-hosting the four-day event.
According to the NLHDA, the fair is designed to provide a common platform for promoters of apartments and group housing projects, concerned organisations, consumers and service providers, among others. In addition to real estate products, the expo will feature electronic goods, furniture and furnishing items, glass, pipes, paints, carpets, sanitary ware and automobiles. Visitors can also consult experts about Vastu Shastra at the event.
“Apart from exhibiting or selling homes, the expo will inform visitors about the current situation of the real estate sector,” said Iccha Raj Tamang, president of Nepal Land and Housing Developer’s Association. “We are hopeful that this event will help the real estate sector to make a safe landing from its current crisis.” Tamang added that the expo would offer real estate and other products at “unbelievable prices”. “We are looking forward to establishing a healthy environment in the real estate sector. Therefore, exhibitors are offering products at affordable prices only during the expo ,” he said.
Similarly, NLHDA general secretary Min Man Shrestha said that the real estate business had started gaining speed since the past six months, and this expo would help to maintain the momentum. “Though the market is yet to mature, we are hopeful that this expo will play a instrumental role for the sector,” he said.
Chief marketing officer of Kantipur Publications Mahesh Swar said that the company had joined with the NLHDA for the event as real estate has a very deep relationship with the general people. “The real estate sector also has a huge impact on the national economy. Therefore, we have given our support by becoming a partner in this event,” he said.
