Planning to purchase a property and worried about the cost? If yes, the third edition of the NLHDA Kantipur Real-Estate Expo 2013, which has assured prosperities at ‘unbelievable prices’, is all set to kick off in the Capital from Thursday.
Organised by the Nepal Land and Housing Developers’ Association (NLHDA), the expo at Bhrikutimandap is offering various lucrative schemes. Kantipur Publications is the co-host of the event that will run through May 5.
Discounts on prices and seevral other facilities will be available for those booking properties during the expo, the organiser has said without divulging the details of the discount offers. Interested individuals can even make property site visits during the event. According to the organisers, interested visitors will be transported to the property location from the expo venue each day at 12:00 pm. The visit is expected to offer factual information to prospective buyers about the properties they are eyeing.
Another exciting feature of the expo is ‘Property Clinic’, which will have experts from various sectors to offer consultancy services to the visitors on issues relating to designs, engineering, law and vastu, among others.
The expo will also identify prospective buyers who will enjoy a special passes. Invitees who receive an SMS invitation from the organisers will get free entry to the venue.
Besides real-estate, the expo will also feature electronic goods, furniture and furnishing items, glass, pipes, paints, carpets, sanitary wares and automobiles, among others. Along with a food court, there will also be the availability of a free Wi-Fi service.
On Friday, an interaction programme will be held which will shed light on the current status of the country’s real-estate sector and its future. The event will be held amid the presence of government officials and experts. Entrance tickets for the expo have been pried at Rs 50.
NLHDA has been organising the event every year for the last two years. Besides the members of the association, this year’s event will also have traders from various sectors featuring their products and services.
Realty developers say the real-estate sector, which has been going a slowdown for the past four years, has started showing encouraging growth in the last six months. They say the Nepal Rastra Bank’s directive to permit loans up to Rs 10 million under home loan has played a major role in the sector’s recovery. The expo is expected to further boost the sector.
