Panchakanya Group, one of the leading business groups of Nepal, on Monday officially lunched its new product-- CPVC pipes and fittings-- amidst a function in the capital.
CPVC pipers and fittings are made from the special thermoplastic and are chemically known as Chlorinated Poly Vinyl Chloride.Panchakanya Group has joined hands with Sekisui Japan for the technical collaboration.
Sekisui Japan would supply raw materials and technical support to Panchakanya to produce CPVC pipes and fittings, said Pradip Man Shrestha, managing director of the Panchakanya Group.
CPVC is the latest technology in the production of pipes and fittings and has been influencing the world market, he said.
Though the CPVC technology is very expensive technology for producing pipes and fittings, Panchakanya as a business group to provide new and reliable products based on advanced technology, once again we have started this products as per our slogan of ‘Always First, Always Ahead’, Shrestha said.
The CPVC pipes and fitting are available in the size ranging from half inch to two inches through various depots and dealers throughout the country, he informed.
For the installment of CPVC pipes and fittings solvent cement will be needed, we have also been providing American branded CPVC solvent cement, he added.
The main features of the new products include long life, light weight and cost effective, 100 per cent leak proof, low thermal expansion among others, he said.
