The third edition of the NLHDA Kantipur Real Estate Expo 2013 kicks off at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu on Thursday.
Organised by Nepal Land and Housing Developers’ Association and Kantipur Publications, the four-day event offers visitors complete information about the real estate sector. The expo is also expected to give a much-needed boost to property developers and other stakeholders.
During the event, developers are offering properties at ‘unbelievable prices’. “We are hopeful that this expo will play a role of a common platform for promoters of apartments and group housing projects, concerned organisations, consumers and service providers, among others,” a statement issued by the organizers read.
Apart from real estate properties, the expo will also feature electronic goods, furniture and furnishing items, glass, pipes, paints, carpets, sanitary wares and automobiles, among others. There will be a ‘Property Clinic’ comprising consultants who will entertain the queries of prospective buyers and sellers. The expo is offering site visit facility for prospective buyers. The expo will also feature a food court and free Wi-Fi service.
The organisers have said one lucky visitor will be given away an apartment at Mero City Apartment worth Rs 2.1 million. Visitors can also win daily gift hampers worth Rs 500,000 through lucky draw. Tickets have been priced at Rs 50.
