With the arrival of the festive season, demand for almost all items, ranging from apparels and electronics to automobiles and decorative goods, has grown substantially. Targeting the booming sales during the festive extravaganza, SB Furniture, one of the noted names in the country’s furniture and furnishing market, has introduced a line-up of new products to attract Dashain shoppers.

The company has unveiled a wide range of bedroom sets, sofas, dining sets, wardrobes and children’s furniture, among others. “ Dashain is the time when the market witnesses at least two-fold growth. We have come up with the latest product line-ups too woo the furniture buyers,” said Sudarshan Joshi, director of the SB Furniture.

He added that the company has introduced products under two different categories; the first one is practical, where the furniture items are more focused on the utility factor catering to the demand of people with medium level earnings, while the design oriented furniture items are specifically designed for style and cater to the demand of the premium product seeker.

The current range of bedrooms at SB Furniture have prices starting from Rs 38,000, sofa sets starting from Rs 70,000, dining set from Rs 100,000 and wardrobes from around Rs 60,000. Joshi said that SB is the most sought after furniture brand, based in Thailand, all its products come directly to Nepal for sale.

The company claims that these products are among the most trusted, with the brand synonymous with quality. “Ever since we started dealing in SB Furniture, we haven’t received any serious complains from the customers.

Just in case we receive a serious complain, we try to fix the problem or replace it,” said Joshi, adding that the company also provides its service to customer’s doorsteps. “We have staff who visit the customers place to the fix the problems, in the case any problem arises.”

The SB Furniture product range, and its service facility, according to Joshi has made it a top-choice among domestic furniture buyers. “Our products are attractive as well as durable, helping us to attract buyers,” said Joshi. Adding to buyer’s joy, SB Furniture is set to reveal a new promotion at the ‘Saan Furniture Furnex Nepal 2013’, furniture and furnishing expo, expected to begin from September 25 at Exhibition Hall, Bhrikuti Mandap.

The furniture brand is offering a flat discount of 20 percent on all its product ranges. Likewise, the company will also be announcing a special scheme, under which it will provide furniture items for a three bedroom apartment (based on three bedrooms, a kitchen and a living room) all for Rs 500,000.
