To disseminate information about realty sector, the `Real Estate Expo-2011' will be held at Bhrikuti Mandap by Nepal Land and Housing Developers' Association (NLHDA) from August 25 to 28.
The expo, which is going to be organised for the second time after a gap of two years, will showcase around 200 stalls of housing developers, banks and companies offering construction materials, interior designing and electrical equipments.
The stalls will not only exhibit products from real estate utility sector such as paints, wiring, plumbing and interior decoration, but also provide consultancy service to help customers receive bank loans. Min Man Shrestha, general manager of NHLDA, says, “We are organising this expo to make the most of the opportunities granted to us by the budget. Our hopes are high because of the inclusion of Non Resident Nepalis (NRNs) and non-citizens for investment in real estate.
We are including numerous stalls of housing developers, urban designers and manufacturers, out of which 75 per cent have already been booked.“
He adds, “We are expecting around 100,000 visitors over four days.
Armed with experience from our first venture, we hope to create a more stable and positive environment for investment in real estate.“
